Module A: What is Regulation?
An overview of competency of regulation, including self-regulation, co-regulation, why regulation matters, and the relationship between regulation and social and emotional learning.
Module B: Beyond Behavior: Factors Impacting Regulation
Get curious about what might be underlying a learner’s behavior, including exploration of underlying factors that impact the development of regulation including neurobiological components (sensory processing, executive functioning, emotional regulation, social cognition) in addition to the external/environmental factors (lived experience, culture, sociopolitical factors, access, and relationships).
Module C: What is The Zones of Regulation?
A comprehensive and detailed explanation of The Zones of Regulation framework, its Signature Practices (Categorize Feelings into Zones, Offer Zones Check-Ins, Create Custom Zones Toolboxes, Use the Zones Pathway), and Key Principles to support implementation with fidelity.
